Booking Conditions
1. Bookings must be on the Booking Form and sent with a deposit of one third (1/3) of the total rental price. The balance together with the Cautionary Deposit of £20.00 (see paragraph 3 below) must be received not later than 6 weeks before the beginning of your holiday. In the event of cancellation and if the property cannot be re-let you may have to pay for the whole of the period booked; please ensure you arrange your own holiday cancellation insurance.
2. The Cottages are available for occupation as from 3.00pm on the first day of your holiday and must be vacated by 10.00am on the last day. You and the members of your party as shown on the booking form, but no-one else, may occupy the property for holiday purposes only. You may bring such pets as indicated and agreed on the booking form; they must be well behaved and never left unattended on the property. The owners reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time provided reasonable notice is given to the holiday-makers.
3. The holiday-maker should keep the property clean and in good order and will be responsible for any breakages. The owner shall be entitled to deduct from the Cautionary Deposit the cost of remedying any breach of these obligations together with the cost of any services/goods provided for the holiday-maker which have not been paid for. The whole amount of the balance will be refunded to the holiday-maker seven days after the end of the holiday.
4. The owners reserve the right to refuse any booking and to cancel any booking already made if the property becomes, for any reason, unavailable subject to the owner refunding any sums that have been paid, but the owners shall not be under any liability.
5. The owners shall not be liable to the holiday maker or any member of their party for any loss or damage to any property however caused.
6. If the holiday maker or any members of his party fail to observe any of the conditions the owner retains the right to require the holiday maker to vacate the property at once without any compensation becoming payable.
7. If there is a requirement to change booking dates the holiday maker is requested to advise the owner as soon as possible in order that the owner may try to meet any requirements requested.
